When the new "Advanced" -> "Rendering" -> "Use font vertex buffer" optimization is enabled, the text in line editors might fail to render properly when you cut or paste text in existing text.

The bug is fixed for next release already.

In the mean time and as workarounds, you may either disable the feature or, when things fail to render, select all text (CTRL A) in the line editor and deselect it.

Fixed in today's v1.32.2.15 release.

It seems this issue has resurfaced. With "use font vertex buffers" on, one of the buttons in my lua sidebar, in which I use an emoji character, does not render properly the first time: https://i.imgur.com/DuK4O73.png (under the star and above the landmark button). If I click it, then it renders properly. Sometimes the text on the chat console has small errors too. With "use font vertex buffers" off, it doesn't happen: https://i.imgur.com/0fG1ttx.png . Strange... I did not notice such issue any more after I backported LL's latest fix. Might have to reimplement my workaround then.

I reintroduced my workaround (*) into today's release (v1.32.2.27).
