can someone tell me where to find that 'multithreaded curl' setting on V3? cos i tried to check to turn it off in order to reproduce the bug but i cant find it under network in the dev menu ev
In "Advanced" menu -> "Show Debug Settings" floater, type CurlUseMultipleThreads and set to FALSE, then restart the viewer for it to take effect.
Not sure if the bugfix that post talks about has anything to do with the multi-threaded-curl problems this thread is about. Just thought I'd mention it in case it may be helpful to you Henri. Your last "curl"-fix was about a crash-bug and this new change seems to fix a texture-load stall.

Curl issues have already been fixed in the Cool VL Viewer and the curl code used in it is even more up to date that the one in the fix you point out (it uses a more elaborate code found in the mesh branch of the SL viewer). The fix you cite is not needed for the Cool VL Viewer.
