When using the osx version of 1.26.63, after few minutes, 100% of the memory is used and the viewer stops. |

Hi, might be an issue in the mem checking code. Do you actually see the process grow, or is it the Cool viewer memory check warning that terminates the process? You can try to disable the Mem Checking code in the Advanced Menu. (Ctrl-Alt-D to show the Menu). Kathrine P.S: just tried with 1.26.6.4, and i do not see any massive memory growth or leak, but had seen one on Windows a few days ago. |

Ok, seems the memory checking code is sadly unreliable.  .Even the OS X activity monitor sometimes shows totally silly results for virtual memory use sometime (16 Exabytes for a 32-Bit process???), so probably the OS X/mach API for this is just crap. Will see if some smoothing function (e.g. take the average of the last 30 seconds) is more reliable. Kathrine |
