Ok, did a full cache removal (textures/ and inventory) and it looks all better now. Skin is changing for all three body parts. With a delay of 2-3 seconds though, but I think you have changed something there. At least I don't have to go into "edit appearance" anymore. I'll continue to observer it the problems come back. Thank you. |

Yah, the delay whereever it comes from is pretty annoying. No more quickly shuffling through your skins and stuff to find what you need. ![]() |

Oh dear... just 5 minutes after cache cleaning, second skin change and the bug is back. ![]() I changed the skin, only upper body gets updated, head and lower body still showing the old skin. Adding entry to bug forum. ![]() |

Hello, the bug is still present for me. - I did a complete cach cleaning (complete removal ov inventory/texture cache folder), relogged on empty sim, waited for inventory complete, relogged to my home. - Skin change: all well. - some minutes later: skin change: not ok: In the viewer where I changed the skin, it only updated the upper body. (Cool VL Viewer 1.26.7 on Windows). In a second viewer (fresh install) that I have open on my Mac, I don't see no change at all (Cool VL Viewer 1.26.7 on Mac). Tried Firestorm (latest) on the Mac afterwards: sees the old skin on all 3 body sections, too. Even a Rightclick-Avatar/More/Refresh on the Mac doesnt help to update the avatar running in the windows pc, so apparently the baked textures never hit the grid. ![]() Log when I changed the skin:
The first skin change that worked, looks like this:

Not seeing this bug happening in either Linux or Windows releases, so I assume it's MAC-specific and can't help you. |

It's Mac-specific, apparently. I'm afraid I can't help (no MAC here). |

- log in - change skin: works - wait some time - change skin: does not work ![]() Sorry, I have no more details. ![]() Are there any settings that might somehow kick in there and that I maybe messed up? Like I activate "Ping interpolate objects", I can't remember why. Maybe there's other things that might be broken? I do not start with fresh settings.xml all the time, cause I have lots of stuff that I want different from default. EDIT: One thing. Maybe it has to do with stacked layers? I wear several tattoo layers etc. maybe that might be a difference to your avi? Would a complete log from SL start until the bug appears help? Maybe something's happening that breaks things? |
