Hello all, user of Cool Viewer and Second Life resident.
I have reached Cool Vewer coming from other TPVs, and I find it very nice, and user friendly.
But I have just discovered something which I am unable to sort out. Edit window, top part, just below the "Edit link parts" little check box, there is a drop down menu "Ruler", which should open to a "world", or "Local" option. Instead, it opens a window regarding the weight of the object. Useful, I admit, but for a flexy prims miniskirts builder like me, absolutely VITAL. I can't shift the pieces of the skirt, oriented on every angle of the compass, using the setting "world"!!!
Does anyone know how to solve the riddle? Thanks to whomever will help me!

That's the information you get when you click to the right of the dropdown. I just tried and I get that too when clicking on the small triangle, but if I click further left in the dropdown (on the word "World" itself) I get the expected effect.
It looks like the active area for clicking on the object impact information is hanging over the right side of the dropdown.
Try clicking on the left side of the drop down.

Yes, this is a UI element layout bug... Use the attached floater_tools.xml file to overwrite the one in the viewer's installation skins/default/xui/en-us/ sub-directory.
This fix will be part of the next releases.
