In the latest stable version, if you make a new outfit via Appearance, the new folder will contain all the attachments you're wearing, but none of the system clothing. (In the dialogue box, the boxes for selecting system clothes are all greyed out.)

Dang, yes !... and it's been quite a long time this bug has been introduced (it dates back from the first SSB backport !)... Amazing that no one else noticed so far (me included). I guess it's because (like me), most people compose their new outfits by adding items in a folder rather than by wearing the items and using the Make New Outfit floater...

The bug is easy to fix (you can even fix it yourself by editing the corresponding XML file): the wearable items names have been lower-cased in the code but not the names of the corresponding check boxes in the floater_make_new_outfit.xml floater definition...

Tomorrow's releases will have this bug fixed.

Strange, as I use this feature. Last time I used it was may 4th, and this outfit contains the clothing layer links as it should.

This was only affecting the UI, not the outfit creation itself. Anyway, it's fixed now.

maybe my fault, but clothes are shaded gray so I cannot automatically add to an outfit.

any idea it's my fault or the viewers one?

my fault.

I didn't look deep enough.

and I updated with the latest updater but it seems I was still running an old version.
no idea why.

now I made a clean and new install and everything is fine.

thanks!
