In the latest stable version, if you make a new outfit via Appearance, the new folder will contain all the attachments you're wearing, but none of the system clothing. (In the dialogue box, the boxes for selecting system clothes are all greyed out.)

Dang, yes !... and it's been quite a long time this bug has been introduced (it dates back from the first SSB backport !)... Amazing that no one else noticed so far (me included). I guess it's because (like me), most people compose their new outfits by adding items in a folder rather than by wearing the items and using the Make New Outfit floater...
The bug is easy to fix (you can even fix it yourself by editing the corresponding XML file): the wearable items names have been lower-cased in the code but not the names of the corresponding check boxes in the floater_make_new_outfit.xml floater definition...
This bug has been fixed in the last releases, please update, and before posting a new bug report, do check that the bug was not already reported. Also, follow the rules for this forum, and *always* provide the required details in your bug reports.
