I am crashing, when taking a snapshot. In an older post I did see, that skydrive is maybe responsible. But i dont have it.

Please, update to v1.26.4.73 and post (before tomorrow, or else wait for v1.26.4.74) the corresponding log and crash dump: I cannot diagnose crashes happening in old releases, because the corresponding debug symbols files have been wiped off my hard drive. Like clearly specified in the rules for this forum, you must be using the latest release when reporting crashes.

Your issue seems however indeed related to the same issue as with Skydrive: software overriding the Windows file selector by inserting theirs are incompatible with software using tcmalloc (a memory allocator used by the v1.26.4 branch because the v2.6 renderer requires it). If it gets confirmed (I'm waiting for your crash dump) the only solutions for you would be either to uninstall the offending software or to upgrade to v1.26.8 (which doesn't need neither use tcmalloc).

Thanks, Henry,

I installed the newest now.

Same bug.

But - when I opend the viewer the first time, and then I tried to take a snapshot and save it: it worked well!
So i felt happy, but ... I closed the viewer and opend again, but when saving a snapshot, the bug came back. Now the bug's there.

(Because i have with the 1.26.8 the problem, that i am crashing with every TP, since months and all updates, i liked to use the 1.26.4. I just try out the newest 1.26.8 and will tell)

This indeed looks like a memory related error (i.e. probably tcmalloc incompatibility with an installed software on your system).
