I wonder if someone can help me with this issue. I am trying to login to Inworldz with the latest version "CoolVLViewer-1.26.4.95-Windows-Setup.exe" and everytime I crash just after the login procedure. I logged in perfectly fine with the previous version (1.26.4.94) and I also manage to login to SL with the latest version without any problems. /Lutricia |

I have got this error also but I am using 1.26.8. Login proceeds normally until the Loading World process and the the viewer poofs. I can log in with the default viewer without problem. I can also log in with CoolVL using a different AV so I assume the fault is user setting related rather than program related. |

I tried after your message above to login to Inworldz with two other accounts and that worked perfectly. I also deleted the account settings for the problematic account but unfortunatelly that didnt help. |

I seem to at least for now fixed the problematic account issue. For me, the solution was to delete all account settings, both IW default and Cool Viewers. Open the default IW viewer, put on some new created clothes and edit them, save. Exit from the main menu and then login again with Cool Viewer. First the avatar was ghosted but I got a notification that my outfit.xml was missing and to re wear my outfit. That solved it for me, for now at least. Perhaps or most likely it was my own fault since I deleted the current outfit folder yesterday, I read a post about this in the IW forums and wasnt aware it could be part of the issue. Hopefully this can be of help to someone Also check here: http://inworldz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16972&p=143273#p143273 |

This bug is already fixed for the next releases. It was reported to me by an InWorlz' developer and is due to the conjunction of a non-standard protocol recently implemented in InWorldz and a somewhat-too-bold optimization that I backported from Singularity (the latter should therefore be affected as well, or at least its alpha releases). This results in a race condition on login, that causes the viewer to hit a llerrs (voluntary crash due to an unhanded error condition). Note that this bug affects many releases since the optimization in question was backported weeks ago... |

Or you can fix the bug yourself in the sources (simply edit indra/llappearance/llwearable.cpp and replace the "#if 0" at line 1089, in void LLWearable::writeToAvatar() with "#if 1", to restore the non-optimized, safe code) and recompile the viewer. |
