I was trying to add a name to my parcel ban list. When I looked at the list, it was completely blank - wiped clean of all names that had been there. I filed a JIRA https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-7152 and Maestro Linden came to the parcel immediately. He watched as I tried adding names to the parcel ban list - every time I "added" a name, the list was erased by the viewer - I added 7 names and the viewer cleared the ban list 7 times in the span of a few minutes.
- I downloaded and tried the official LL viewer 'Second Life 3.7.14 (292638) Aug 4 2014 15:01:11 (Second Life Release). Adding names to the ban list was successful.
- I then tried an old version of the Cool VL Viewer 1.26.10 (19) Apr 26 2014 10:36:16 (Cool VL Viewer), and it too was successful in adding names.
- Only the most recent build (details below) erases/resets the parcel ban list.

The most recent build seems to have some kind of bug that erases/resets the ban list when a parcel owner tries to add to it.

I have not attached the logs because the most recent version of the Cool VL Viewer I used was the older version, so I don't know which version information is in those logs. I do know that I am not comfortable logging in again with the new viewer/latest build due to this situation.

*deep sigh*
Please, follow the rules to the letter and NEVER EVER report a bug on the JIRA if that bug is a Cool VL Viewer-specific bug !

Linden Lab does not (and cannot) provide support for TPVs and shall not be bothered with such issues !!!

Bug fixed in today's releases (v1.26.8.72 and v1.26.12.14). That bug got introduced with the experience tools support and was my fault/blunder (man, I was surely pretty sleepy when I wrote that part of the code...).

Thank you Henri.
I *tried* to follow the rules for Cool VL Viewer bug reporting. It never even crossed my mind that it could be related to the viewer. I did a web search for information on parcel ban lists and saw this happened at least once before and it was related to server code. So, I thought it was some type of server bug introduced on the last roll. I had no idea how the list was being emptied. If I had been able to determine on my own that it was viewer-related, I would not have filed an LL JIRA.
