Hello :-)

After I have install the Cool VL Viewer 1.26.13 (18) my viewer freeze fastly in.
I get a Watchdog pop up, think s they is from my grafic Card.
I got for round about two weeks a Nvidia update
Too bad I have not make a snapshot.
Now I m back into the Cool VL Viewer 1.26.13 (17) all works fine again,
still with this Version I have never crash or freeze in-)

Regards sunny

Next he'll be asking you for the log. :) Maybe find and upload it somewhere.

Well, yes, the logs would have told me if you were using the viewer in deferred rendering mode or not, and may be even more clues about what is going on with your particular system/setup...

This said, the *only* change, code-wise, between v1.26.13.17 and v1.26.13.18 is the optimized rendering of mesh shadows (which code won't be ran at all unless you have shadows enabled). To see if it's what makes your graphics card/driver choke, simply revert to LL's default code, via "Advanced" -> "Rendering" -> "Deferred Rendering" -> "LL's slow rigged mesh shadows".

Note that I doubt very much this optimized code makes any difference (I don't see any issue here, and I'm also having a NVIDIA card, a GTX660). The fact that your graphics card or graphics driver freezes (thus triggering the watchdog in the viewer, when the freeze is long enough) is likely due to other matters: bug in the graphics driver, over-heating of your GPU or CPU, or bad memory (DDR) module, in this likeliness order. Since the freeze doesn't happen in the viewer code itself, it's pretty obvious it's not a viewer bug...
