Same issue... The bug hunting session continues...

Here is a new patched binary which adds safe guards and debug messages to the mesh repository code (I think this might be a problem with a stale mesh request reply getting triggered while the request class itself has been already destroyed, or a bad (empty) LOD data received, both being capable of causing a crash during the mesh optimization).

Please, download it and overwrite the old patched binary with it, then start the viewer, login, and in "Advanced" -> "Consoles" select "Debug tags" and in the floater which appears scroll down to check the "Mesh" item. Then try and make the viewer crash... If in the log you see warnings about "Stale response received for removed instance. Ignoring." or "No data received for mesh Id: .../... - LOD: n", then it means we caught the issue and you should not crash any more... If you still crash, well... you now the drill now: post the log and crash dump, as usual.

May I assume that this bug has finally been fixed ?... If so, please submit a log file coming from a long session, so that I can see which parts of the fix are active/useful, and remove the part(s) that would be pure paranoia from me, if any...

That crash dump corresponds to the first patched version, not to the second one I posted above, which contains additional fixes for this very type of crash, and that you should be using for already 2 days !

Geez, please, BE CAREFUL TO WHAT I WRITE AND DO NOT ME MAKE LOOSE MY SPARSE FREE TIME !!!

Hey Henri. So far so good, I did not crash anymore and did not find any more problems. As far as the mesh debug, i did not find any of the error messages.

Here is my latest log. File was too big for a zip here.

I got a new crash. It happened after double teleport to the same sim in a short period of time. (my movelock blew me away from the tp spot the first time so i tp`d again from inventory landmark and after few seconds i crashed)

That's again a crash in LLVolumeFace::cacheOptimize()... I'm starting to wonder if there's a griefing crasher mesh object roaming on the grid... I still can't see what's wrong in the code.
