Hello Henri,

So, not sure which version I notice this issue in, but maybe a month ago. When I first login to DN I can get regular IM's just fine. When I TP to another sim I start getting these group chats which are continuations of a conversation I just started getting. I checked around and seems no one else is having this issue with another viewer.

Plus I think Cool VL needs to be optimized again for DN. :D ;)

Nothing wrong in the log, and I don't quite understand the problem you describe... If you receive group chat, it's because it gets sent to the viewer... So, if it should not be received, it's a server problem and there's nothing I can do.

Sorry it was a little vague. So let me describe it better. When I first login everything seems to be working smoothly (other than the issue I was having in the other topic). I am able to receive individual IM's from other people just fine. There might be a group chat happening that I am not aware of when I first login and remaining on the sim. I am not being notified of the group chat taking place that I should be apart of because I am apart of that group. When I TP to another sim I start getting the group chat, but no, not the past chat entries that I missed from before I TP'ed. If I TP back to the sim I originally login to, I will continue to receive the group chats I was not getting before TP'ing.

If you didn't see anything in the logs, I wonder if this could be a server issue. But I was told I am the only person having this issue. How embarrassing for me to keep bring up these issue up that might only be me. My aviator is blond, but I'm not.

Thanks,
Geoff

Receiving group chat messages out of orders is indeed not a viewer issue (the viewer displays the messages in the exact same order as it receives them !). Server issue.

OK apparently your still not understanding the issue. I'm not getting them out of order, I'm not receiving them at all. And only receive a chat after I transport somewhere else. As far as being a server issue, I could see that if it was happening to other people using other clients. But since its only me... It's something else.

Thanks,
Geoff
