Problem moving an attachment using the edit dialog

I'm trying to move an attachment using the 'Position' entries in the edit dialog ('Object' tab), and it doesn't seem to work as expected: whenever I change a position in the dialog, the attachment doesn't move. Also, after entering a new position and validating it, the positions displayed in the dialog change: they seem to switch from position relative to the attachment point to some kind of absolute position. This happens whether I enter a new position myself or when using the copy/paste buttons in the dialog.
I'm using the latest version on macOS. Here is what Help -> About says:

Thanks. :)

The "Ruler" combo box must be set to the "Attachment" mode for this new feature to work. LL recently enabled the position and rotation spinners for attachments (before, you could not modify the position or rotation in the Edit floater but only with the manipulator arrows and rings), but no check is done on what type of position/rotation you enter (and forcing the ruler to Attachment would be detrimental too since the other modes, in particular the "local" one, are very useful to move/rotate attachments with the manipulators).

I will see if things can be made better, but for now, just ensure the ruler is set properly when modifying values in the Edit floater.

Ah OK, didn't think to check on that… I got one time when it seemed to work, I guess that explains it: the ruler setting must have been OK when I did it for some reason. Not too sure how the default value for the ruler is figured out, but yes, this is quite confusing: even if the ruler is set to 'local', the coordinates that appear are the relative ones, so I guess the valid ones for the 'attachment' ruler value. And by the way, changing the 'ruler' setting does not change the displayed coordinates; shouldn't it?
Anyway, I know how to do it now. Thank you! :)

In next releases, the position and rotation spinners will be disabled when the Ruler mode is not set to "Attachment".
