Howdy. I don't necessarily believe this is a viewer bug, but wondered if someone could shed light on what might be happening. I have recently decided to go with a mesh body which has some idle bento animations for the hands. When trying to play any but the default 'resting' position, I get the following errors in the log file,:
Code:
2019-08-18T00:41:08Z WARNING: LLKeyframeMotion::onLoadComplete: Failed to load asset for animation :00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000
2019-08-18T00:41:08Z INFO: LLMotionController::updateLoadingMotions: Motion 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 init failed.
The thing is, the animations actually play just fine. So visually, nothing looks amiss with my new body, but my log gets filled with those errors when the body's AO cycles through the animations for the hands. And all other animations that I have tried do NOT produce that output. And disabling the hand animation cycle, causes the entries to cease. My feeling is there is something wrong with the hand animations but since they are not mine and I can't even trigger manually, I can't do much more diagnosis. I supposed the AO script could be actually trying to load an asset with an all 0 UUID, but that seems really weird.

Not really a bug.

I suppose it is an issue with using (or having around) a Bento avatar (i.e. an avatar mesh with hand joints) and no hand animation defined for it.

Looking at the code (LL's one as well), there is a missing check for null UUID in LLVOAvatar::processSingleAnimationStateChange(), and another in LLMotionController::createMotion(), which causes these harmless warnings.

I added the necessary checks for next releases.

Thanks Henri. I had just started looking at the code but hadn't come to your conclusion yet. :)
