Parcel name follows whatever parcel the cursor is on?

Today I noticed that the parcel name at the top of the screen now shows the name for whatever parcel the cursor is hovering over, rather than the parcel one's avatar is actually standing on. (This caused a momentary freakout, as it seemed that SL was claiming a parcel I own was now abandoned land.) I don't know when this changed?
I'm attaching screenshots (with my avatar standing still but three different parcel names shown—note: I had to crop these to get in under the file size and dimension limits). I'll attach the log to a followup comment in a moment. Thanks!
