Hello Henri,

looks like there is a serious issue with buying land from the viewer. After the purchase is complete (payment made, L$ amount change pop-up displayed), the viewer goes into an endless loop of alert dialogues "You cannot close the Buy Land window until the grid managers estimate the price of this transaction.".

This obviously leaves the viewer quite useless and unresponsive. I had to SIGTERM it to shut it down eventually and restart and relog.

This seems related to "Backported from LL's viewer a fix to 'blocking UI behavior when estimating the price of buying land'"...

Could you please try with a version anterior to v1.28.0.19 or 1.28.1.9, for confirmation ?

EDIT: or, better if you compile the viewer yourself, trying this patch:

I'm afraid not, of the many things I do in SL, buying land is not one of my regular pastimes. :lol:

Well, some do make money buying and selling land in SL, but I'll confess it's not either something I do. :P

Anyway, that fix should restore the previous behaviour of the floater on completed transaction (successful or not), while also fixing the issue LL wanted to fix in the first place (preventing the user to stay stuck when the land price evaluation takes too much time)...

Fixed in v1.28.2.1, released today.
