I was testing the experimental branch and for me any text presented (nametags and llsettext) in the 3d world is glitching through the UI.
I'm using AMD RX480 4Gb, and just in case I updated to the lastest recomended drivers.
I tried disabling everything in graphic tab, disabling any of the amd enhancement and nothing.

Does changing the "OpenGL worker threads" setting to 0 (i.e. disabling these threads), in the "GPU/GL features" sub-tab, change something ?

Also, please post the logs !

Sorry for the hiatus have been long week for me, I just found it's a problem with the antialising setting. here are some logs with different settings. so far ogl threads makes no difference, but when Antialising is enabled the text comes thru

If you get this with native GPU 2x SSAA with ALM off (as seen on your screen shot), then it is a graphics driver bug, I'm afraid: with ALM off, the viewer is not using any anti-aliasing shader (forward rendering SSAA is done at the GPU/driver level only, and there is no viewer code or shader involved in it).

Try another driver version, or perhaps 4x AA...
