Hi there,

since the last update I also have that problem of seeing things totally black, but only on a few sims so far. All others work as expected and show the body as it should.

Just now I tp'd to a different sim and all got shown great. Now back to the other place where all body parts are black again. I just opened the Body Hud and also there the body is shown totally in black. the fix is, that I detach and re-tach the body parts and they get rendered correctly.. But.. the hair of a friend of mine also got rendered black.. First time I zoomed out, or tp'd back and I could see her hair as it really looks.. but then during a session it turned black again . and only for me..

oh , and also my glasses get shown in black although I chose a very different color in the hud

Please, do not necro-post in a topic that deals with an old bug which got solved (and got strictly nothing to do with your issue) !
I split your message to create a new topic.

Also, please follow the bug reporting rules, and post the logs !

Finally, did you try and rebake (CTRL ALT R) ?...

It is highly unlikely that this is a viewer bug introduced in last release (strictly nothing changed that could be, even remotely, related to textures and baking) and this is likely a transitory network issue (that would appear clearly in the log); you could also empty your texture cache ("Preferences" floater "Network & web" tab, press the"Clear disk cache" button and restart the viewer), in case it would be a file corruption (and should the cache clearing fix it, then check that your drive is not having bad sectors; you could use gsmartcontrol for this purpose).

Hi,

I'm sorry to have mixed it up.

Yes it did that rebake..

I had already emptied the cache, too but I tried it again today.. and it looked all good. I keep an eye on it and let you know with a better report if it happens again.
