Black screen freeze at uploaing texture

Cool VL Viewer v1.32.0.2, Dec 16 2023 11:01:56 on Linux
I get a black screen without the viewer UI (only window manager deco still intact) and what looks like a generic upper body preview where the texture preview is (lo LH coner for me) when I try to upload a texture. It happens when I expect the upload preview to happen normlly.
Only way to get out of it that I have found is to kill he viewer from h console (kill -15 cool... is sufficient an does a clean exit)
Logfile attached, even though I can't see anything special in it. I run with PBR normlly, this does not happen on ALM.

Yes, and this happens as well when uploading an animation (and not previewing on your avatar).
Apparently an issue introduced by LL's latest changes to the PBR shaders and render pipeline... Try to figure it out now.

Ouch !... It also impacts avatar customization (Appearance floater).
The problem is that the newest shaders/pipeline changes break the preview avatar code.
I'm going to revert them and publish a fixed release until I can figure out what exactly is causing this...
