In ALM mode, all experimental viewer versions from v1.32.1.3 to v1.32.1.8 got a bug (introduced with my PBR terrain backport) causing water bodies to render transparent white...

Strange no one noticed it before... This said, I did not notice it either (I usually sail in Forward mode, which is not affected).

Bug fixed for next release.

I use the experimental build fairly consistently, but I also use PBR predominantly, so likely why I didn't notice either.

I mainly noticed every now and then the water on an adjacent sim won't render at all. Like there is a sudden abyss.
That said here are more quirks with other viewers, like having to zoom in and out heavily before seeing everything rezz, while most items always rezz quickly in the CoolVL Viewer.

This is a different PBR renderer bug (likely a race condition with occlusions), affecting all PBR viewers... It also affects any kind of objects, and not only water objects.

For the Cool VL Viewer toggling PBR on/off (CTRL ALT P) is usually a good way to make objects reappear, but it may fail too, for some objects, and then the "generic" camera-zoom-far-away-wait-some-zoom-back-in trick is a usually successful workaround.

Bug fixed in today's 1.32.1.9 release.
