There appears to be a bug where the Estate Access tab's resident lists are malfunctioning, on both Second Life and OpenSim grids.
Clicking on a name in any of the item lists for Estate managers, Allowed groups, Allowed residents, or Banned residents, results in the item automatically deselecting, preventing you from removing the resident from the list. This affects any user with rights to the estate. Non-estate managers/owners cannot select the tabs at all (though this may be desired behaviour).
I would have attached a GIF to this post, but the file size limit for attachments of 64 KiB is too low for me to be able to demonstrate it.
Note: I did have a one-time issue where the Access tabs were completely disabled even though I have estate manager rights on the Second Life grid, but I cannot replicate this so it may have been a minor hiccup.
Thank you! Crai Conundrum

I sadly do not have any access to an estate (or even sim) I can control, be it in SL or in an OpenSim grid, so testing such a feature is impossible for me. I think I found the bug, but I cannot confirm I really did find it, neither check that my fix solves it. Since you did not provide the required info for a bug report, I cannot even know what OS you are using to send you a link to a test build... Please, follow the forum rules to the letter. There are good reasons why I wrote those rules...

I can confirm this is the case. In fact, the scroll bar won't even allow me to scroll down the list (the list is scrolled, but then jumps upwards immediately, not even letting read the names).

Sent you in PM a link to a beta release with a tentative fix, for you to try.

Thanks for looking into this, Henri, but no, I'm afraid it's still the same. I'm enclosing the new log.

I'm afraid that not being able to experiment it myself (with live changes to the code and logging to narrow the issue down to the culprit code), it's going to be hard to find where is the bug... Will keep this on the "to do" list, but don't hold your breath on it...

What if you install an opensimulator instance on your PC? Unconnected to any grid. Wouldn't you be the sim owner then?

I don't have time for this, sorry. I don't want to bother with OpenSim server stuff (especially since it's not even C++/Linux, but C#/Windows) and learn it for such a minor bug (the number of impacted users is minimal, and the rare occasions when the said users need this feature, they can always fire another viewer to modify the setting they need changed).

What happens is you enable Admin (pseudo-god) mode (CTRL ALT V) ?... Do you have access and can you change the lists, then ?

No. It doesn't look like a permission thing, it's like the whole Region/Estate floater misbehaves. The parts, to which I don't have access, operate as they should, ie most options are greyed out. The ones I have access to don't allow me to select anything because the names and the options blink. It's not just the access list either, the permissions do it too. I suspect the other tabs, if I had access to them, would react the same, it's just that I don't (not being an owner but only a manager). I sent you a video privately.
