The place of the subfolder-openend-window depends on where the target-window or subfolder is. If the target-folder is to high the new windows is cut. Hard to decreibe, see picture please. (Screen resolution 1366 * 768. 2K I guess. All display settings in the viewer at default)

Cannot reproduce... For me, the context menu always renders in the right place (above the cursor when it risks colliding with the bottom of the viewer window border, or under the cursor when it risks colliding with the top border:

That always happens to me too, I'm afraid.

The problem being that I cannot reproduce it at all here (and I did try hard), so I cannot investigate the issue and even less fix it...

I understand. I can live with that. I am thankfully that you tried. I am curious though: What are your monitor screen specs? System? Me: win7.

It's a little more subtle on my system (Linux, UI size set to 1.3). If I click near the top of the screen, the menu pops up below the cursor. If I click near the bottom of the screen, the menu pops up above the cursor. So far, so good. But when I click near the middle of the screen, the menu pops up above the cursor and off the screen at the top. Maybe it could "fit to screen" when it pops up, instead of blindly popping up completely above or below the cursor?

I often need to scroll inventory down so the folder that I wish to add a folder to is near the bottom of the screen. Then I can use the "New Folder" option. I had always assumed (yeah, silly me) that it was just because I adjusted the UI size.

Sadly, this is still the problem.
