Cool VL Viewer forum

Hi Henri,

I am trying the latest CV Snowglobe build. For me the alpha textures don't work. Running Windows 7 - 64 bit, i7 processor with nvidia GF GTX 285. Could be that I'm missing something somewhere...

Could you please elaborate ?... What do you mean by "alpha texture" and "not working" ?

Sorry, alpha textures as worn on my avatar. An example is boots I wear I hide my feet with the new alpha wearable textures. They don't seem to be working for me in that they are not hiding the body part.

Interestingly enough, I downloaded and installed the latest CoolVLViewer-1.25.0.0.exe and the problem no longer exists... Thank you Henri for your patience when dealing with people like me.

I'm pretty sure it was simply a bad installation since Alpha wearables have been working since day one in the Cool VL Viewer v1.24. My guess is that the overlay avatar_lad.xml file was not installed.
