Hi Henri,

the fix for the location input on the login page is still not 100% fixed...

it seems that on logout, the RestrainedLoveTPOK flag isn't written to the setting_per_accout file unless it was already in there before...

So login_to_location only works for avies who have tried it with the previous version...

bye,
LC

I cannot reproduce this bug.. The setting is properly added to settings_per_account.xml in the avatar's directory.

Please, make sure you properly installed the viewer and that the app_settings/settings_per_account.xml is indeed the new one, with the RestrainedLoveTPOK setting in it...

verified with both cool 1.23 and 1.25:
if the RestrainedLoveTPOK flag is not already in the avatars settings_per_account.xml file, logging in to a specific location by putting the location in the loginscreen doesn't work for me.

also verified that the app_settings/settings_per_account.xml is the right one.

edit:

starting the client like this:
./secondlife --slurl secondlife://Orwood/166/44/22

puts that location in the startup location bar on the login screen, and still logs me in at the last location instead.

Logging an avatar in that already has the RestrainedLoveTPOK in the settings_per_account.xml file works as expected...

found it.

the flag is not written to the settings file unless you log out wearing a RLV-enabled collar.

my alt that I used for testing doesn't even have one, but I do want to login on that alt with RLV enabled since I'm using RLV for other scripted stuff ;)

more detail:

i logged my avi in that does not have a collar, and made a prim that does a llOwnerSay("@accepttp:cfd4cf23-f048-434d-a5e4-988d9246a43c=y"); on click.
clicked,
and after logging out that avi had the RestrainedLoveTPOK flag in the settings file.

Yes, I found the bug... It happens when no RestrainedLove command is issued at all and the flag was not positioned during a previous session (or was reset).

I did not notice it since my avatars all have RestrainedLove attachments...

It will be fixed in the next release, and I will also make it crash proof (should the viewer crash, which granted rarely happens with the Cool VL Viewer, the flag won't be written either).
