Cool VL Viewer forum

hello,

i hafe a Problem with rezzing from sculpties with CoolVLViewer-1.25.0.9.exe (2010/10/17, 5Mb)
All complex sculpties are $&/$%(", but normal easy sculpties no problem.
I have change already to Viewer 2 for look, but there all OK.


its unnessary how old a sculptie is or how is made it.

What can i do to fix this problem?
Please say not RenderVolumeLOD, that was my first try.

UPDATE:
Thats the same sculptie in both Viewer.
In Cool VL is the Map Blured, in V2 correct.

Same problem here, most sculpts rezz perfect, some not.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Series Processor (2400 MHz)
Memory: 8192 MB
OS Version: Professional (Build 7600)
Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Graphics Card: GeForce 9400 GT/PCI/SSE2
Windows Graphics Driver Version: 8.17.0012.5896
OpenGL Version: 3.3.0

Render Volume is at 6.

With Snowglobe based viewers (including Snowstorm/viewer 2), RenderVolumeLOD should ALWAYS stay below 3: in fact, even 3 might cause rendering issues, and I recommend keeping it at 2 (see my message in the SL opensource-dev mailing list, here).

As for the sculpties issue, yes, I noticed it and I'm trying to get it solved (as well as the blurry textures on very small prims of attachments)...

Update: got both issues (sculpties and blurry textures on attachments) fixed. The fix will be implemented in v1.25.0.10.
