Cool VL Viewer forum

In the event it's not just me, I thought I'd post the bug.

1.26.0.11 Linux Cool VL's voice floaters is empty. The green dots and level bars are there but nothing else. Hovering over has an empty mouseover for each chatter's info.

I use Ubuntu and it was working with whatever previous versions I was using. I can provide more info if requested.

Please, give precise repro steps as well as the log files (see the rules for this forum).

Given I never use voice, it's hard for me to picture what should be expected from a "voice floater" (didn't even know there was any such thing !), so a screenshot (or two: one for the expected result and one for the faulty result) would also be welcome...

In any case, v1.26.0.11 didn't touch to voice options so please make sure to test at the same moment of the day (in case the voice servers/network would have glitches) with two viewers (try v1.25.0.40 and v1.26.0.11 and see if there is anything different at that very moment of the day).

It's the box that pops up when you click the voice button to show who all's in voice chat. It could have been buggered from a few versions ago and I wouldn't have noticed because I don't update every time religiously. Here's some info and I'll see about getting screen shots. However, nothing's changed on my end but Cool and it still works other than no display of voice chatters.

Ok, you are speaking about the "Active Speakers" floater... It was indeed broken in v1.26.0.9, when I updated display names support (internally, the voice client still uses legacy names, and it could not understand display names).

This has been fixed for the upcoming v1.26.0.12 release.
