Mesh error message while working with sculpties

The problem happens when changing the sculpty map of an object, an error happens:
"You may not alter the stitching type of a mesh object."
the object stitching is automatically set to mesh and there is no visible change on the object.
changing back the stitching to whatever fits generates another error message but solves the issue:
"You are not allowed to change this shape."
and only then the new map is taken in account.

This is not a big problem, as the work around is simple but it may seem strange the first time. Also if the user do not correct the stitching, he may think that the sculpty handling is broken.

This bug is known (specific to v1.26.1.2 and v1.26.1.3) and already fixed in upcoming v1.26.1.4. See this message.

The workaround doesn't work for everyone. I have the object and stitching type windows freeze, and my only solution at that point is to delete the prim.

As much as I want to see mesh, if there's not an update in the next day or so, I have to revert back. I'm not saying this to put pressure on you, Henri, but I NEED to be able to create sculpts. I don't NEED to see mesh.

Which workaround ? I said that the bug is fixed for next release, not that there is a workaround.

v1.26.1 is an EXPERIMENTAL release. If you are not happy with its status and/or do not need to see meshes, just use the STABLE v1.26.0 version, and stop whining !
