Permission dialog broken in 1.26.2.9

Ok, I'll save myself the hassle of providing additional information, since it's probably my graphics driver or the fact I dare to like shadows and nobody else can reproduce it anyway.

Permission dialogs seem broken in 1.26.2.9. This definitely seems to be the case for animation permission as well as attach permission -- clicking "yes" will not yield the desired result. Rolling back to 1.26.2.8 fixes the issue, so this is what I will do for now. Cross-checked several times.

Love, Lia.

I have the exact same problem. All Intan Solo Dance Balls stopped working for me with v1.26.2.9. At first I thought that was because of the notecard-reading bug that LL had server-side. But that one is supposed to be fixed by now. And then I read this post here.

Everything works fine with v1.26.2.8 and with the official SL viewer. v1.26.2.9 shows the problem.

It only seems to affect animations where you do NOT have to sit on a ball or something else.

When I click (touch) a dance-ball I get the dialog asking me if I want to allow the object to animate my avatar. I click Yes, and then nothing happens. No animation starts. The dance-ball also doesn't seem to think that I'm using it, as another click/touch should bring up a menu of available dances, which does NOT happen when I use v1.26.2.9, but works fine with v1.26.2.8.

Logfile is attached.

One question: does the dance ball pertain to you or to someone else ? I've tried with several dance balls pertaining to others and it worked just fine, and I don't have a dance ball pertaining to me...

Nevermind... I found the bug. It only occurs with your own objects (and since those are most often either worn or sat upon, the permission dialog is not shown and the bug does not occur). I simply forgot to register the callback for the new ScriptQuestionOurs notification... Silly me !

Yes, the dance ball is indeed mine. That was some fast work finding that bug! :D
