Qt Webkit Version: 4.7.1

Start as Admin is the same and by the way with the newest Phoenix viewer i get the same result, failed to start.
The older version of Phoenix and Imprudence (booth SSL2-optimized) works well.
A friend in SL telled me about problems with Cool VL Viewer and the redistributable runtime libraries for Visual C++.
Maybe this is the cause but whats to install? - i didnt found solutions here or in thew web.
Thanks for help.

Sorry, here is the Secondlife log-file, there is no secondlife.dmp-file in this directory.

If there is no SecondLife.dmp file, then there is no crash... It would be the sign of something in your system removing (killing) the viewer. The logs show that it happens just before (or perhaps when) the curl library gets initialized... This could be related to the settings of your firewall, or a problem with your anti-virus software.

OK, i have checked it.
Cool VL Viewer setted in the exceptions of the windows firewall - Start failed.
Avast Antivirus and Firewall deactivated - Start failed.
So i think it is not the firewall or the antivirus - but what else i can do?

Is there not a solution with the redistributable runtime libraries for Visual C++ so a fried me telled?
He can not remember what he did to solve the same problem.

This problem only occurred with old viewer versions and would result in a dalog about a "badly installed software" being presented by Windows even before the viewer is started. This is not the problem you are encountering here... But since there is no evidence of any crash, it must be something fishy in your system, and not in the viewer (which I have tested on multiple Windows systems and that everyone else is using without trouble).

Also check that neither SLVoice.exe nor SLPlugin.exe get blocked by your firewall and/or anti-virus.

Even though you have said you turned off your firewall and anti-virus software(which you shouldn't have to do, btw), I have had several people claim similar problems and have run into it myself recently over another software download.....the problem for them and myself came from a relatively new feature found in the 'packages' of security software for computers. The feature is web based and sits outside of the anti-virus program a bit and unless specifically turned off it continues to run even when you think everything is turned off. It supposedly checks via a web call to a site maintained by the security company (whether its Norton, Avast, or whatever) that compares what you are trying to download to a list of software that has been checked for amount of downloads and user reported safety ratings. It may take some digging to find where its on/off control is, though it should still be in the general overall 'package' controls. Apparenty, the feature is being downloaded under automatic updates and people are unaware of it until they need to download something that isn't on the 'list', prompting a panicky 'service' call to the security company(which in turn yields some more marketing usually).

Anyways, take a look and see. It might be the problem.
