Alpha Textures improperly rendering

I have looked through the bug reports here and nothing fits exactly to this issue.
The past couple of versions of CV 1.26.2.10 through to most current. Also 1.26.3.1 & 1.26.3.2 are affected.

The issue: I've noted that any texture which contains Alpha renders as Black, identical behaviour if you had edited the texture and set colour to Black (although this is not the case) as it applies to all alpha's. In order to have the Alpha render properly, you have to edit the object and turn on Full Bright in order to properly see the textures.

I have tested with Imprudence Beta-2, MeerKat and most current Linden Labs Development and these viewers all render the Alpha properly, without having to be on "Full Bright". My Graphics & Network Settings in particular are exactly the same for Cool Viewer & LL Dev Viewer and as close as possible with non-v2/3 based viewers.

This behaviour is identical in SecondLife & OpenSim.

Still cannot reproduce with your settings... Probably a graphic driver issue... Please also keep in mind that the Cool VL Viewer is using the v2.6 viewer renderer, which is different from all other v1-UI viewers (but for the latest mesh-enabled Phoenix which reused my code) and from current official viewers.

Like I explained in this forum for all graphic glitches, I'll not loose my time chasing the v2.6 renderer glitches relating with deferred rendering (which even the latest v3 viewers can't get right for now). I'll rather wait for LL to produce a renderer that works properly on all OpenGL systems (which is not the case for now with v3 viewers) and then port it to the Cool VL Viewer.

On linux (puppy) Alphas are not rendering properly for Cool and phoenix(1600). Singularity renders correctly.

Singularity uses the latest v3.2 renderer. The Cool VL Viewer (and Phoenix) uses the v2.6 render. Each got their bugs and glitches, so I'll repeat myself *again*:

Henri, Thanks for the reply. Sorry I took up your time. I briefly scanned the post and failed to see anything other than not to post with new if there was an existing subject. This was chosen as being closest to the issue. Perhaps a sticky at top with keywords for Graphics, Rendering, Renderer, Alpha would cut down on the repeats.

An like I already said countless times... such graphic glitches will be fixed when I'll port the v3.3 renderer to v1.26.5.
