Cool VL Viewer forum

I recently got a brand new pc, and to my surprise, the v3 viewers - SL, Exodus and Nirans ...ran like butter, and silky smooth.

Phoenix was good, but no where near as good graphics.

However, imagine my shock when I downloaded latest stable cool vl viewer - using the method whereby it finds the relevant snowglobe files from LL by itself during download.

ALL viewer menu text was like looking at bold, blurred hieroglyphics. The only readable text was local chat.

I tried uninstalling and downloading again. Same thing.

I want cool vl to use for inworldz, as I tried imprudence but it was terribly slow and laggy and many things remained unrezzed.

My guess is that your video drivers are trying to force anti-aliasing settings on the application instead of letting the latter set it by itself (ATI "AI" setting does that and Nvidia drivers may also override applications settings: this is evil !). However, it is just a wild guess from my part since you didn't follow the procedure for reporting a bug...
