Hi Henri,

while still hunting down the issue with crashes while editing when wearing mesh attachments (running with --debug all the time now), I finally managed to catch something (hopefully) tangible on another issue that's been plagueing me on and off for a few releases now: crashes immediately after texture uploading.

These don't happen always, but, however, the sooner I do the upload after logging on, the more likely it is I will crash. Whereas "soon" probably isn't the right point - I suppose it depends what I've been doing in the meantime, not so much time passing.

Log and gdb backtrace included. Hope it helps!

Love,
Lia

It's a crash in tcmalloc while allocating memory... Did you run out of virtual address space in the viewer ?... If not, it might be interesting to try and reproduce the same crash with LL's v3.3.4 viewer, that uses the same related code, and then to report the bug on the official JIRA for LL's viewer (hint: do the upload tests on Aditi to save many precious L$...).

Nope, definitely not the issue. In the past when it happened without running with gdb, I did get a proper stack trace, but it seemed rather nondescript (i.e. I saw it crashed 'outside' of the viewer, so I didn't know if it was a system library or something that came with the viewer).
