Hello,

I'm new to Cool Viewer. I used Firestorm and Phoenix most of the time before. I'm often online with my laptop with a good graphics card, but my keyboard is slow when there's lag. When I cam somewhere and I let go the alt key, the cursor remains a looking glass very often for quite some time. When I don't notice this and right click my avatar to detach something or adjust, the cursor disappears. Arrow keys turn my avatar around and let her walk, moving the mouse just turns her around, but I can't do anything anymore, not even quit. I get my cursor back with ctrl-alt-delete (I hope that's the right english key for the german "entf"), then I close that window, go back into the viewer and everything is fine. I had that happen several times yesterday. There's another difference to Firestorm: when my cursor is a looking glass in Firestorm even though I'd let go the alt key before, I can still touch objects with right click. This doesn't work with Cool Viewer either. I constantly have to watch if my cursor is an arrow or a looking glass because I can mess up very easily and lose my cursor.

For what it's worth and hope it helped,
Lailantie (who likes this viewer a lot)

What I need is the log (SecondLife.log) which corresponds to the session where the issue happened !
