downloads slow?

Post downloads slow?
Hello Henri,

did there change something with viewer downloads? Right now I am at 11.2/73.8 MB, 1 hour left ... for several weeks now, downloading new client versions is very slow. I am not in a hurry, I just wanna know. :P

No such problem here... I tried to download via TOR (so that the download is not direct from my ISP which, unsurprisingly, happens at full speed), and I got over 5Mbps (i.e. about 3 minutes taken to download the 100+ Mb Linux installer)... Try to do it via a proxy or via TOR, if your ISP got slow connection with France...

It depends a lot on from where you download. At home I get very slow downloads (taking about an hour) since a few weeks ago. And I have 200mbit/s downstream.

But I also tried downloading to one of my servers that is hosted in a datacenter. Was *much* faster. Took less than 5 minutes.
