I apologize if this has been asked and answered: How many light sources can Cool VL Viewer render in a scene? I seem to recall an old limit of six, but I thought that was removed a while ago.

Thanks,
Vince

The Cool VL Viewer uses the same renderer as LL's viewer, with only a few improvements: mostly speed optimizations (the majority of which were backported from Singularity, but without deviating from the original rendering algorithm like Singularity did), and the support for "invisi-prims" in deferred render mode, AKA "ALM" (LL's viewer removed that support for this mode).

The total number of lights rendered in both viewers (LL's and mine) is 9: ambient light, Sun, Moon and up to 6 local lights (you can check by yourself in the sources, in (ll)pipeline.cpp: look for the MAX_LOCAL_LIGHTS constant).

This has not changed in years...

Got it. Thanks, Henri! And thanks for a great viewer!
