Cool VL Viewer forum

DreamNation is adopting Cool VL viewer as its official viewer. In the past we have not endorsed a preference for viewers. Most of our members stuck with Firestorm because it was what they were used to and they could easily move between Second Life. However, the decision to split the FS viewer into a SL compliant and OS viewer which are not compatible has caused considerable heartache and technical issues for our members. The new OS only FS 6.1 is a dog. The CEO of Phoenix admits that and promised a speedy update, but it seems she has now reneged on that promise. She claims there are over 500,00 users in SL for their viewer, and less than 2000 in OS environments. Both figures are dodgy to say the least. Henri and the Cool team on the other hand have worked very hard to keep an up-to-date always improving viewer that works very well in OS environments. I congratulate Henri and the team and will be endorsing the COOL VL viewer widely and loudly. Waki Janus, CEO, Dreamnation.
