Why the Cool VL Viewer?:
I'll tell you why: "It always works". Pure and simple the Cool VL Viewer is my "go to"..."always works"..."isn't alpha"..."no frills".."just what I need viewer". In my book no other 3rd party viewer can make that claim. Henri Beauchamp.....you are "the MAN!"
With regards and gratitude,
Maskull Lorefield

...and I am a Linux user so the Cool VL is even cooler if that is possible!...an SL Viewer built primarily for Linux...can it get any better? I don't think so!

I've just come back to Cool VL again after a long period of using/testing other viewers (partly owing to the Mac-build hiatus), most recently Phoenix (I have tried, but I can't bring myself to love Firestorm and its draggy performance). It's a bit like suddenly losing a lot of weight; you didn't notice a kilo here or a kilo there, but when the lard is gone... Pow! Textures pop in... CPU load drops... The fans on my Mac spin down...
