exactly how does this feature work now? I'm used to seeing the extra points on the menu.
How it works is described in this thread... Just read it, please, starting with this message. Basically, it works like in viewer 2, with a couple more options.
- you can wear up to 38 attachments in total - it doesn't matter on which attachment points you wear them - "add" attaches one attachment to a point without kicking off what is on that point already - "wear" attaches one attachment to a point but kicks off one attachment that is already on there... problem is, when you already wear two or more attachments on one spot, it is kinda hard to guess which one gets replaced.
Example...
Imagine a jacket that has prim sleeve cuffs (attach to lower arms) Then imagine a wristwatch.
You are wearing the wristwatch already, and you want to wear the jacket. "Add to outfit" would leave the wristwatch on your forearm but also add the sleeve prims of the jacket, "Wear" would replace the wristwatch with one of the sleeve cuffs.
Open for discussion:
With this being available, are the "illegal" phoenix-style extra attachment points obsolete? The Phoenix guys themselves seem to think so...
