CoolVLViewer-1.26.23.16-Windows-x86_64
First of all, thanks for the viewer, he is very easy to build under Visual Studio 2019/Windows10.
The file selector makes life difficult for me.
I have 3TB of data and it is a torture to handle this amount.

Please fix the following errors (error? not really, missing features)

Image

Icons for the File Selector are for example here:
https://www.w3schools.com/icons/fontawe ... _files.asp

Please insert gnu gettext for the translation.

Conclusion of the viewer works well.

I am sorry, but there is strictly nothing to "fix" and the file selector will not be modified to match your preferences.

It is designed to be universal (same selector for all OSes), fully non-blocking, immune to code injections (a common occurrence with DLLs in Windows, such as cloud software DLLs, but also with malware) that crash other viewers or cause infections to your system, lightweight (no, it will not be changed to display icons, previews, media, or make coffee !) and easy to maintain for me.

Also, building the v1.26.23 branch of the viewer with VS2019 is NOT supported (for you might have issues with VC runtime DLLs because the pre-built Windows libraries are built with VS2017, or encounter compiler warnings because of changed C++ standards between VS2017 and VS2019): for full compatibility/reliability, please use VS2017 (see linden/doc/WindowsBuildHowto.txt).

VS2019 has no problems building with the v1.26.23 branch.
There are no compiler warnings.

I have no problems with other viewers, they are all 100% stable with their filemanager.
I have never heard of this problem either.

Only the mesh upload, since all the viewers, always have problems with that they crashen often, with me since the year 2008 20-50 times a day.

My CoolVL Viewer building is running very well.

The bug is the linux filemanager, because you can certainly make a selection purely that anyone can choose whether their or the operating system used.

An implementation choice is not a bug. And it is not "Linux", it is generic.

It works just fine under all OSes (Linux, Windows, MacOS-X). So there is no bug here either but just a preference of yours that is not mine.

If you are not happy with how the file selector is implemented in my viewer, then use another viewer, or code your own !

Case closed.
