Why do my FPS rock in cool viewer?

Below are my system specs. For some reason both Firestorm and Viewer 3 give me crap for FPS. An example would be. In a location where I would normally get 15 - 20 FPS in the other viewers I get 50 FPS in Cool Viewer. The people on the LL boards can only tell me things like " You should be getting good FPS"

Probably because I took great care to keep the bloat out of the the Cool VL Viewer code and to optimize the latter for speed everywhere I could... Also, the v2/3 viewers suffer from the bloat of their UI code (all those pretty "widgets" are very costly in rendering term, and their multiplication only makes things worst): the leaner the UI, the less time the viewer spends rendering it !
