How to fix no "Disable VRAM Checks" checkbox

Dear Henri:
I use Cool VL on an Intel NUC with an integrated Intel GPU, running Windows 11. It is what it is, but the vram identified is 512MB, and the usual checkbox "Disable VRAM Checks" is missing. I've tried a few things like trying to erase as much as I can, but I can't figure out why that box is missing, as it's an all important checkbox obviously! I know how to edit the config file in Linux, but I'm unsure how to do that on Windows.
Thank you for any help you can provide!

It is not missing. The VRAM checks can only be performed via NVIDIA and AMD specific OpenGL functions, for which Intel iGPUs drivers do not have any equivalent... Also, this setting would only disable real-time VRAM stats, not initial VRAM detection.

Under Linux, it is possible to override the initial VRAM detection with the LL_VRAM environment variable, but there is no equivalent override for Windows and the detection is done via a DirectX call...

Note that such a NUC would likely run the viewer much better under Linux, so if you can setup a dual boot, this would be the way to go...

I will add a global debug setting for overriding VRAM detection, in next release...

Thank you so much, Henri! It works perfectly for me so far, the system is grabbing more ram, and it's not cycling through fuzzy textures like it was.
Thanks again, your viewer is the best, as well as your service and attention to detail!
