Thanks for the patch, Henri. I applied and reenabled "Sharpen shader after AA". Things look good from the anti-alias perspective. Something still seems a bit off so I did more testing with previous versions.

In the Hippo Hollow https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hippo%20Hollow/154/118/23 'materials demo area', I notice that in version .9 most things looks pretty good, like

but in .10 onward (I must have only noticed today with .12), they look like:

I did not change any settings between switching viewer versions but it looks like glow is too high, or something.

I see no such issue here:

The sky reflections are whiter with the PBR setting, but this is because it got broken, fixed clouds... So it's "normal" (i.e. it does correspond to the clouds coverage).

Maybe you got a driver issue, somehow... Sometimes, the reflection probes fail to "start" (I saw this happening under Windows, never under Linux) on login, and you need to switch the reflections settings to kick them up...

Switching to either Midday or Midday (PBR), or indeed any of the other day part option and things render properly. It appears though, when I switch back to parcel environment of that crazy purple sky. :? Very weird.

Yes, given that crazy EE setting (non-PBR aware), you need to disable "Fix reflection blue hue" to see things rendering properly (purplely ?)...

Ah, OK. I hadn't tried that as it didn't really seem to have much of an effect before and the default is for it to be enabled. Without it, you are right, not that white hot view, but rather reflections of that hot pink/purple sky.
