Cool VL Viewer forum

So, 9.9 out of 10 times, when I do something in SL, instead of getting the proper notification "No room to sit, for instance ... joined group, for instance, etc. etc.) I get an error message that the viewer doesn't know how to display the notification, stating that the particular alert was not found in notifications.xml.

YES I've re-installed Cool VL, as a matter of fact I had to replace the hard drive in my laptop and installed clean, and it still happens ...

Maybe someone could check their install for this notifications.xml file, send me a copy, and tell me where it should be in my install?

1.- Your issue got *nothing* to do with DLLs (it's just about new messages in SL's servers and is totally harmless).

2.- Make sure you are using the *latest* release of the Cool VL Viewer (messages have been added to SL servers that old releases don't know about).

3.- If you did install one of the latest releases (v1.26.4.46, v1.26.6.5 or v1.26.7.2) and still got unknown messages issues, then please provide a *proper* bug report with logs. See the rules.
