Did others have this Bug also?

The wind sound is usually louder when you move faster (since then, the relative wind speed increases, unless you fly/run/walk in the same direction as the absolute wind). It is also louder at high altitude (including in skyboxes, of course, since in SL, the wind goes through the walls).

If this sound annoys you, you can disable it via "Advanced" -> "World" -> "Disable Wind Audio".

Short of turning off ambient sounds is there a way to turn of the sound of the wind as we walk?

"Advanced" -> "World" -> "Disable Wind Audio"

You may also lower the sound volume for the wind only, instead of disabling it altogether: open the Debug Settings floater (CTRL ALT S) and change the AudioLevelWind setting (valid values are from 0.0 to 1.0, default being 0.5, i.e. 50% of the ambient audio level).

This is not "fly wind" this is relative wind: the sum of the sim's wind (which is stronger at highest altitudes and therefore may be heard even when the avatar is immobile, depending on which direction it is facing) and of your avatar's movement. This is normal and in no way a bug.
I already replied this question (see above) and how to stop or adjust wind sound and a search for "wind sound" would have brought up these replies to your question...
I merged the three topics, in the hope nobody will ask again for what was already replied.
