Cool VL Viewer forum

Hi,

using thee 1.19 Coolviewer, just before the R65.

maybe my sight is not so good anymore , or my memory ..

I could not find the turn off chat gesture" checkbox, under Preferences>TextChat.
So my avi keeps on tapping the invisible keyboard.

Is it possible the checkbox has gone away ?

This option was added in the general preferences only in later viewers and does not exist in v1.19 and former viewers.

However, the corresponding variable does exist in v1.19 and older viewers. Open the debug settings dialog (in the Client menu: type CTRL ALT D to activate it if it doesn't yet show in the menu bar) and type "PlayTypingAnim" in its combo box, then set to FALSE.

A "Play typing animation" check-box has been added to the "Cool features" tab of the Preferences menu for the legacy renderer branch of the Cool SL Viewer, starting from v1.19.2.76.
