Hi all,

New to this forum and Cool SL Viewer. I've found I really like all the features adopted on this viewer except one, the ability to log into your own standalone grid. With the plain old SL Viewer all you have to do is add this chunk of code to the properties of your shortcut < -loginuri http://127.0.0.1:9000/ -loginpage http://127.0.0.1:9000/?method=login > and waalaa, you are in your own local grid when you are running OpenSim. Easy.
Though, after adding Cool SL Viewer, this ability is inadvertently disabled due to the Grid List drop down menu on the login screen. I love that feature, as it makes it so easy to switch grids, but as I have said it totally wipes out the ability to login to local. So maybe there is a little chunk of code I can add to help me out - or maybe there can be an add on to the drop down menu (ideally) that allows for this?
The main reason I downloaded Cool Viewer is to have the ability to build locally, save prims (and linksets), and then upload them to SL or OSGrid. And I wanted to do this without wasting money on Second Inventory which is a slow and inconvenient in-world widget; no thanks. Also CopyBot.. it seems to threaten alot of developers for obvious reasons, hence Cool Viewer.

Thanks for your time, hope we can figure something out.

I just tested it and this feature still works... But you must use the proper options, depending on which branch of the viewer you are using:

I was using this string exactly, was I doing something wrong?

-loginuri http://127.0.0.1:9000/ -loginpage http://127.0.0.1:9000/?method=login

And what is --helperuri?

Like I already explained above, this line is only valid for v1.19.0.5.
For v1.23.4.0, use a doulbe dash before each option name, like so:

--loginuri http://127.0.0.1:9000/ --loginpage http://127.0.0.1:9000/?method=login

Please, follow the links given in my previous message to find out the meaning of each option.
