I've realized that I can't see fitted mesh correctly. Everything else looks fine, and i've had a friend confirm it for me by removing the clothing, item, etc and regular mesh looks just fine. Anyone know if fitted mesh is unsupported?

Fitted mesh is supported and works just fine... Just make sure you are not running an antiquated version (get the latest releases).

I even deleted the previous version.

The only explanation would be that your graphics driver fails to compile one of the shaders... But it would fail too with other viewers (the Cool VL Viewer's implementation of fitted mesh is not different from LL's).

In any case it's impossible for me to diagnose anything without proper logs and repro steps.

I guess my first course of action will be to try another view, which i probably should have done. I just hate the other viewers *smiles

It is possible the graphics car isn't loading correctly, it freezes occasionally and i get kicked out of sl, not sure exactly what causes that, but i never concluded anything as a result of the crashing. Maybe this is a side effect as well...

In any case, i'll report back if it's a common issue with other viewers.

Update. Finally tried another viewer. The Issue does not occur with Singularity. Basically, when i try a fitted mesh body (mesh project) with Cool vl it results in a long blurred image, like the pixels are being stretched out from my torso. Will add pics tomorrow. THis same issue does not occur with the Singularity viewer so I'm inclined to believe its not my card.

Is this the issue where the new mesh bodies that recently came out look like a long line in the abdomen and upper legs ? A friend gave me a fix recently that took care of this phenomenon...it has to do with the new bodies only seeming to work correctly with the Advanced Lighting Model under the Graphics tab in Preferences checkmarked to on...I don't know why that makes a difference, but it does. On my viewer, I have this checked on, but have the No Shadows chosen in the drop-down option.

I'd need a proper report and repro steps to investigate... I myself never encountered this issue, but it is probably related with a shader not compiling properly on some card/driver combinations (and yes, Singularity uses different shaders (that also have glitches, but just different ones) in some places, when compared to all other viewers, so I'd also need to know if this issue can be reproduced on official viewers, which shaders are used by the Cool VL Viewer).

I'm not in long enough this morning to take photos or to complete a proper report, but I can confirm the fix worked. THANK YOU LORD!
