Cool VL Viewer forum

Hello,

anyone know if there is a problem on LL side?

Client fails to load lots of stuff from asset-cdn.agni.lindenlab.com.

WARNING: LLMeshLODHandler::processFailure: Error during mesh LOD handling. ID: f59e62df-8126-5fda-f6d2-ba59daae0179 - Reason: Couldn't resolve host name (Easy_6). Not retrying.
WARNING: LLCore::HttpPolicy::stageAfterCompletion: HTTP request 5560C078 failed after 8 retries. Reason: Couldn't resolve host name (Easy_6)

I saw this also earlier today (solved now): a problem with LL's CDN provider, obviously... The good news is that the Cool VL Viewer got fallback mechanisms, either automatic (for textures, when an HTTP fetch fails or timeouts, the viewer falls back to an UDP fetch) or manual (for meshes, un-check "Advanced" -> "Networking" -> "Use GetMesh2 capability for meshes"). Of course, rezzing will be much slower than usual, but should still occur properly...

EDIT: LL posted an update now too.
