Hello,

I have found that the script editor is very slow when marking text with the keyboard. Any idea why?

Checked in Firestorm, not slow there. They must do it differently, somehow.
Not checked in Linden client yet, I just cleaned up the millions of installations I had.

What exactly to you mean by "marking text" ?... The script editor is lightning fast for me, be it for syntax highlighting or text selection (with either the mouse or the keyboard)...

Since I've no idea of "what" you speak about, I can't know "why"... Please, give precise repro steps.

Totally different code... Mine is optimized v1, theirs is a mix of LL's v2/3 code and their own pre-processor and whatnot...

Marking, like in selecting for copy/paste,.

Press and hold shift, move cursor to highlight text for then copying somewhere with Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V.

And like I explained in my first reply, I don't have any issue when doing so, here... What OS/Configuration are you using ? Please copy paste the About floater info here.
