I did find "ToolTipDelay" in the Debug Settings and was able to lengthen the delay, so that helps alot, but so far I could not find a way to toggle it off or on.
It looks like a longer delay will take care of my problem

Is it possible to disable the mouse-over hover tips that pop up in the UI? Generally, i like the tips, especially in preferences, but they can be very annoying in the Inventory window when you are moving your mouse across the file names. Kyo (I'm not talking about the Hover Tips that you can toggle from the View pull down menu that controls hovering over in-world objects, I have that off) |

Yes ToolTipDelay is the best setting to use for this purpose. UI tool tips can't be disabled entirely. |
